"BACK TO ROUTINE!"

September 2008

That seems to be the overwhelming response when I talk to folks as of late.

We've all enjoyed our summer.  But boy..oh boy.. are we looking forward to getting back to to something that resembles normality.

I, myself am on the top of that list.

With the kids are back to school., the house and hopefully life, will begin to resemble something less of a zoo.

Ah yes, order... to be able to think without noise.. structure in my little space and my brain.

It couldn't come too soon.

Summer has definitely come and gone.

We have immensely enjoyed it.  There was a lot of firsts for the Smith family and alot of victories for us together and individually.

We've done our camping, traveling and visiting.  There has been weddings, BBQs and celebrations.

The garden is slowing down. The trees are turning and its starting to get c-c-c-c-older at night.

But if your summer was anything like ours, you are probably feeling the need for some damage control by now.

To be truthful, I'm honestly excited about it.

The shorts I worked so crazy hard to make fit  for May, aren't wearing quite right anymore.

Our summer was definitely better this year.  Our diet didn't seem to solely consist of  smores, hotdogs, and margaritas.

But most certainly every cell of my being is  feeling the need for that routine.

Routine in my eating, routine in my exercise and sleep, routine in my spiritual walk.

So up and attem folks!  September 1st is here!

Where are all we at out there?

Did you put those goals and dreams on the shelves while you played at the beach and ran barefoot thru the grass?

Time to pull them out!  Do they look just as beautiful as they were when you first dreamed them?

Spend some time, sit with them, get reacquainted.

But be aware... there's no time for beating yourself up.

We don't do that nonscience here. That burns nothing but time.

No sireeee, we are picking up, getting refocused and marching on.

And we will get there!!

We will be thankful for the awesome summer and all it blessed us with.

But excited for a new season.

I am becoming a goal setter.

It is not something that comes all that easy to me, but, by faith, I'm working on developing it as a skill.

That is one of this years goals!

Last year I invited you all into my deepest darkest spaces and shared as I blogged what turned into a 65 day juice fast.

That was a goal that had been on my heart for quite some time and I thank you all for the encouragement as I walked thru it.

I will continue to blog my crazy walk with food at www.juicing-jo.blogspot.com  and I am officially (and finally) launching my web site at www.naturalfoodcoach.com.  Please forgive the few last bugs as I try to squash them. I basically have no idea what I'm doing.

But with that now  under my belt (so to speak)  its time for more.

And as a friend and coach,  I challenge you to the same.

What are your dreams and goals for this next season?

They can be done. If they are in your heart, they are property of you!

If God placed them there, He knew they can and will come to completion.

God is not a tease.  He is the ultimate visionary.  Grab His vision for your world and life.

That's my challenge this month, folks. Let me know...

WHATS IN YOUR HEART!?!?!?!

Run for it, grab it with everything you have.

Forgetting that which is behind, let us run the race now before us.

For certain we will get there!!

Blessings,

JO
